Wardian London, Canary Wharf

Camlins worked for Ballymore Group at Wardian London, Docklands. This residential development consists of two towers of 50 and 55 storeys, linked by a podium. Camlins produced the ‘Wardian London’ branding strategy based on ‘The Wardian Case’ a protective glass case used by 19th century collectors to transport plants from around the world. Landscape is proposed over three levels, ground, podium and Sky Garden. The ground floor incorporates a new garden space with inclusive play area, a water feature and extensive public realm. The landscape is also located within the building footprint that are formed through voids up to the 2nd level. These include two courtyards that are viewed from the reception and make stunning features when entering the building and an external swimming pool deck extensively planted, creating a very verdant environment. The Sky Garden is a planted interior landscape with restaurant and panoramic views of the capital.
